Low Level Duels

Summary

Low Level Duels (henceforth LLD) is a dueling format dedicated to low-level characters of lower level. LLD allows for a utilization of equipment, skills, and stat-distributions that would otherwise not be viable. While the character level is low, the equipment tend to be of very high quality with the only limitation being the Required Level.

Eligible Levels

The standard—i.e. the one used unless otherwise specified—max level is 30.

General Rules

  1. The duel is initiated first when the duelists after both duelist say “Go”.
  2. No bad manner behavior (naked killing, letting mercenary attack naked player, using Leap, etc.)
  3. No use of wells or shrines.
  4. No pre-buffing.
  5. Don’t stack Replenish Life (keep it at 25 or below).
  6. The weapon switch glitch is prohibited.

Melee Rules

  • The duelists will be positioned perpendicular to the town entrance.
  • Duel is commenced when both players swing their weapons in the air against each other.
  • No switching weapons or skills in the middle of a duel.
  • No running around, or moving out of the attack.
  • All skills used to inflict direct damage must rely on Attack Rating (i.e. no Smite).
  • The use of potions is prohibited.
  • Resistances are above 75 are prohibited.
  • Weapons that inflict Slow or lower durability are prohibited.
  • The Charge skill is prohibited.

Class Specific Rules

Paladin

  • Smite and Charge are only permitted in the General format.
  • Holy Freeze is prohibited in any format.
  • Resist Fire, Resist Cold, Resist Lightning, Salvation, and Cleansing are prohibited in the General format.

Necromancer

  • The use of Iron Maiden is prohibited.
  • Bone Wall and Bone Prison are prohibited.
  • Bone Armor is allowed to be cast once.

Druid

  • Cyclone Armor is allowed to be cast once.
  • The use of Werewolf and Werebear to postpone death (e.g. at <1% HP) is prohibited.
